Information you provide
When you paste a public URL or enter tool settings, the tool uses that input to perform the request. Public-link services may keep a limited technical cache of request and result metadata for reliability and abuse control. Active Lifetime access can also store the identifiers of tools you choose to save for synchronization across allowed devices. Inputs, files, and results are not included in this sync.

Contact forms and email
If you contact us or report abuse, we use your name, email address, subject, message, and related request details only to reply, investigate, support the service, and handle legitimate safety or legal requests. Messages may be delivered through our SMTP email provider. We do not sell contact form data and retain it only as needed for support, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.

Uploaded images and files
Image and PDF utilities are designed to process files locally in your browser whenever possible. Files are not uploaded to Extractly servers, and refreshing the page clears temporary previews and generated results.

Media preview tools
Media tools may send the public link you provide to an Extractly media service so available formats can be resolved, previewed, or prepared for download. A technical cache may retain the source URL and resolved metadata for service reliability; Extractly does not require platform account credentials or turn this cache into a user activity profile.

YouTube Subtitle Pro and optional AI processing
The extension keeps styling, local fonts, local SRT files, vocabulary cards, and channel rules on the device. Before the first cloud action, it shows a clear consent notice. Requested subtitle text, transcript context, questions, and AI output settings are processed through Extractly by a contracted third-party AI processing provider. Requested realistic speech, pronunciation recordings, live or background transcription, and current-cue audio verification are processed through Extractly by a contracted third-party cloud speech provider. Background mode retrieves short audio segments from the public YouTube link only after the user starts the job; those audio segments are processed transiently and are not retained as result files. The protected extension API runs on managed hosting, security, and delivery infrastructure. Live-transcription text temporarily stored for reliable replay and resume is deleted when the 24-hour resume window ends. Completed background caption text is available for up to 30 days so the user can close the browser and return later; accounting, cost, request, access, and abuse-prevention metadata may be retained as needed to operate the prepaid service and prevent duplicate charging. Extractly does not use these requests to build an advertising profile.

Pass activation and extension devices
Connecting the extension sends an activation code, a random device identifier, and a short device label to Extractly. The server stores a hashed access token and device record so Pass duration, device limits, and prepaid point balance can be enforced. A user-requested wallet handoff uses a single-use token that expires after five minutes.

Third-party platforms
Tools that read YouTube, TikTok, or website details may request public pages from those services. Their own privacy policies and platform rules apply to their content.

Third-party advertising
Extractly does not load third-party advertising networks and does not use product activity to build an advertising profile.
